Exordium IP was founded by Greg Penoyer, a seasoned expert patent attorney who worked for prestigious intellectual property law firms, Fish and Richardson, Proskauer Rose, and Mintz Levin, spending significant time in patent prosecution and counseling, strategic portfolio development, offensive and defensive patent litigation, and technology and intellectual property transactions.

Greg also spent four years leading in-house intellectual property efforts at leading technology and consumer products companies.  This in-house experience provides Exordium with a unique perspective and valuable “inside knowledge” perspective on how internal legal and business teams operate, receive and process licensing offers, and react to litigation activities.

Greg’s early technical career at global power and aerospace companies, Boeing, General Electric, and the United States Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, enriches his ability to comprehend complex technologies and provide tailored legal and business solutions.

Greg has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School.
